Day 30 + 4 = 34 - in which the Ford-McCoys get their house and their life back.

Our last day in Europe, our last day in Ireland, and especially sadly, our last day with our fabulous hosts, the Ford-McCoys, who are apparently particularly keen for us to go so that they can start commenting on these blogs without us actually being there in person.

The past week has been many things - a chance to reacquaint [there's that 'quaint' word again - it even muscles in on other perfectly innocuous words, minding their own business being very useful in their own right, thinking it is so important just because it happens to perfectly describe many of the villages in this lovely country......I seem to have got off track] with old friends [not friends who are old mind...], meet some lovely friends of the old friends, take a bit of time to recharge our metaphorical batteries, whilst still getting to see some of the touristy bits, just to make sure we weren't being completely disengaged from our holiday, and get four loads of washing done. All in all, and in short, a perfectly delightful way to spend this week of our holiday.

I may update this a bit later, but it is late and we have an early start in the morning, so it's goodnight from me and it's goodnight from her, good night.
